Proxy Server

 Screen Shot

A proxy server is a computer that stands between your computer and the Internet. When you ask for a web page, your computer connects to the proxy server and it is this computer that actually fetches the web page from the Internet for you.

CyberSieve uses the proxy settings from Microsoft Internet Explorer by default.
To change the proxy server settings, open the CyberSieve Control Panel and click on the Settings. After that push the "Proxy" button. If you do not want to use a proxy server at all, mark the "Direct" radio button. To customize the proxy server settings, mark the "Custom" radio button and then enter the proxy server address and port to the corresponding fields.

Unless you are sure that you connect to the Internet with a proxy server and have all of the connection details, we recommend that you do not alter this screen in any way.
